25 Years after the Brighton Bomb - Forgiveness?

As part of a series of talks hosted by the All Party Parliamentary Group on Conflict Issues, in the week of the 25th anniversary of the Brighton Bomb, The Forgiveness Project was invited to stage a talk in the House of Commons.

Chaired by the All Party Parliamentary Group chairman, Simon Hughes MP, “25 Years after the Brighton Bomb – Forgiveness?” was a discussion featuring Jo Berry and Pat Magee. Jo is the daughter of Sir Anthony Berry MP, who was killed in the blast, and Pat is the former IRA activist jailed for the Brighton bombing and subsequently released under the Good Friday Agreement. Jo and Pat’s story forms part of The Forgiveness Project’s “F Word” exhibition, and they frequently work together to promote peace and understanding.
